An Example of a Renaissance Woman's Outfit Description: This is a nice way to start your Renaissance Faire visits. The usual outfit included a Chemise or Blouse, Bodice and either one, two or three Skirts. The Chemise could have been one of the shirts. Bodices are made of high quality cotton velvet, and heavier cotton-blend lining. There are four pieces of quarter inch steel boning for comfortable support. The edges are finished with bias binding, and there are metal grommets front and shoulders reinforced with buckram between the layers.
